Aunia Kahn

Aunia Kahn was born on December 5th, 1977 in Michigan. She was raised in an explosive and unpredictable home environment and sought refuge through art. In December 2005, her career officially launched with her first exhibition and gained immediate interest in fine art gallery showings Internationally.

She's also a graphic and web designer, the author of Obvious Remote Chaos and the Silver Era Tarot, and creator of the Lowbrow Tarot Project. I really enjoyed looking through all of her artwork. It really captivates you and it's just genius.

Stumbled upon two awesome photographers today, Klinko and Indrani. And look who it is, Lady Gaga as Hello Kitty. I love the idea, but she still aggravates me.

These duo photographers are well known for their notorious and powerful images. Their work has been described as “a powerful dream vision – seamless, erotic, unforgettable, and the work of two contemporary masters”.

Alex Gertschen and Felix Meier are two photographers from Switzerland who stand for photography that comes from different perspectives and that opens new eyes. Their work, “Thirteen Queens,” is the most recent of their work. It is reportedly a universe presided over by fantastical queens, everyone with rules, and a symbolic value.

Zhang Peng

Zhang Peng was born in 1981. He lives and works in Beijing. Zhang Peng’s photography takes young, vulnerable chinese women and girls as it's central theme. There is a profound sense of sorrow and empathy that is evoked in his haunting images of doll-like girls sitting timidly on richly-colored settees and in bloody bathtubs. Their indescribable expressions of hurt and vulnerability leave the viewer unsettled, disconcerted and heavy hearted.

Liz Wolfe

Born in the Canadian prairies, Liz Wolfe studied photography at Ryerson University’s School of Image Arts in Toronto. Starting out in 2004, Liz has become known for creating colorful, fantastical worlds out of everyday objects. In 2009, she exhibited her work at the Architecture and Design Museum (Los Angeles), the Gladstone Hotel (Toronto) and Project Basho Gallery (Philadelphia). She has also exhibited at the Center for Photography at Woodstock, Pikto Gallery, and other locations in Canada, USA, Portugal and Australia. Liz currently lives in Toronto.
