Amongst what seems to be a chaotic mess of paint and distinct outlines and shapes, Antony Micallef has found that he can create a fiendish feeling with his artwork and sculptures. The dark undertones speak to the very core of a person and I especially love that some lines are more obvious than others. It leaves you with a creation of your own interpretation. While there are some that resemble a pre-scholars handy work, these embodied the essence of what art should be: Messy and imperfect. Human.
